How to Apply?
To submit an entry, Founders/Co-Founders must provide a 6 slide presentation (not including title or contact pages), consisting of six sections that tells us more about your business and how you would benefit from a place on our Silicon Valley Accelerate programme. Information to include:
The problem – What is the problem your company is solving (this could also be your “mission”)
Your solution – What is your core proposition and how does your technology provide a solution (please mention if you've created this technology yourself or if you're using existing technologies)
Tech for Good impact – How is your tech making a positive change to individual lives and/or society
Market plan & scalability – Plans for market adoption, growth & your timeline for doing so (6 months/1 year/3 years)
Business model/how do you make money – Let's talk about the metrics that validate your business, including when you registered your business and how much money you've been generating.

There’s no word limit, but the information above should be kept to 6 slides of a presentation (16:9 format). Please submit your presentation in a pdf, powerpoint or keynote format.
This deck will not be shared publicly and will only be used to review your application, and shared with the FutureX team, our partners and the judges involved in the application process.
The semi-final will take place online the week of the 4th of October 2021; the final will take place live online at SUS21 on 26th October 2021.
Stage 1: After companies submit an application, FutureX and Johnston Carmichael will create a shortlist based on growth, scalability and Tech for Good impact.
Stage 2: Shortlisted companies will take part in the online semi-final, pitching to our panel of judges, including business advisors and established entrepreneurs.
Stage 3: The three selected companies will pitch live, online, at Startup Summit 2021 (26th October 2021). Judges include investors and established UK technology entrepreneurs; they will select one winner, announced during the event.
