Philipp
founded iTransEuro.com in December of 1999, with the purpose
of helping US and European companies expand their Internet
business throughout Europe.
Mr.
Philipp was formerly Chief Operating Officer for Lycos Bertelsmann
in Germany. He joined Lycos in 1996 and under his leadership
formed a Joint Venture between Lycos and Bertelsmann. Building
on the relationship with licensing partners such as Grolier,
BOL, Cdnow, Netscape, Microsoft, Freeserve, Lycos Bertelsmann
has become the dominant Internet Pan European Navigation
Service with offices and local products in Germany, France,
UK, NL, Spain, Italy, and Sweden.
Prior
to joining Lycos, Mr. Philipp established the European Magellan
in France, Germany and the UK, which was subsequently bought
by Excite. Mr. Philipp also spent six years with AT&T;, building
their European Global Account Management Program, as well
as starting the Profile Initiative Program in Germany.
Mr
Philipp is a dual citizen in Germany and the USA, and holds
a Bachelor of Science Degree from Clemson University , a
Master of International Business (MBA) from the University
of South Carolina, and was a Fulbright Scholar at the University
of Cologne (Germany). Currently, Mr. Philipp serves on the
board of the following companies: Camelotintl.com; Vavo.com;
Lastavailable.com and Ziszas.com.

Hardes will speak on "Back to the roots - the curvey
road from e-commerce to e-economy".
Bernd
Hardes born in 1969, studied at the University of Passau
and at the University of Witten/Herdecke both in Germany.
He received his diploma in business economics In 1996. Mr.
Hardes began his career in Singapore as a project manager
for Deutsche Bank. He later joined the advertising agency
Scholz & Friends Berlin, where he was responsible for developing
the newly founded consulting department. In 1997.
Mr.
Hardes co-founded bmp AG, Venture Capital, Berlin. Since
1997, he has been an active Business Angel for Internet
start-ups. Mr. Hardes is currently CEO of Econa AG, Germany's
first and largest Incubator for Internet start-ups. He founded
Econa in 1999 along with partners from Aperto Multimedia
GmbH and Scholz & Friends in Berlin. In 1999 he became partner
of Aperto Multimedia GmbH Berlin.
