Startup Summit returns with Head of Google for Startups among confirmed speakers

Scotland’s leading entrepreneurship event, Startup Summit, is returning to Edinburgh on October 30th with a world-class line-up of speakers. Among the first confirmed speakers are Marta Krupinska, Head of Google for Startups UK and co-founder of Azimo, the global FinTech money transfer platform which has raised over $70 million to date, and Rob Spiro, Co-founder ofAardvark which sold to Google for $50 million and Director of French accelerator Imagination Machine. Now in its 8th year, the event is set to host over 1,000 people at the Assembly Rooms.

For the third consecutive year, Startup Summit is backed by Johnston Carmichael, Scotland’s largest independent firm of chartered accountants and business advisers. Johnston Carmichael support some of the country’s most innovative and high-growth startups, scale-ups and global businesses. Their client base spans a broad variety of sectors including renewable energy solutions, disruptive medical technology and social enterprises.

This year's events will focus on three main tracks: People, Process and Performance, with speakers across three stages covering everything from attracting and retaining the best talent, to fine-tuning practices to ensure long-term success.
