At Startup Summit we are continually looking for ways to add value and build upon the work we’ve done before. Now, 18 months into delivering online events, we’d like to think we’ve learnt a thing or two along the way. Drawing on our experience from the past year, we identified three core areas where we could drive value for our partners and exhibitors.

So after using the platform for our sister event Impact Summit, we are delighted to announce that Startup Summit 2021 will take place on Brella!
WHAT IS BRELLA?
Brella is an online event platform that provides tangible value to partners, exhibitors and attendees. What’s new with Brella and how does it benefit you?
Before diving into the features and benefits of Brella, it is worth noting that in our experience the most pro-active partners and exhibitors tend to get the best results. To make the most of the event we recommend taking the time to explore the platform, connect with attendees genuinely, and establish connections by using the platform's features.
With the move to virtual, it is no longer enough to wait for attendees to come to you, you need to seek out the attendees!
The Startup Summit team will be on hand to onboard you onto the platform and ensure you know how it works. We're also more than happy to support our partners in refining their messaging to maximise connections with attendees.
MATCHMAKING
One of the features we are most excited about is Brella’s smart event matchmaking. On first joining the event, attendees are asked about their networking goals and interests. Brella then uses this information to suggest meetings.
Your company representatives will also select their networking goals, making sure your team has the best chance to meet the attendees most suited to them.
This also means that for our top partners, we can add product or service offerings as a category within the matchmaking feature. For example, as a partner you could find attendees interested in:
- Buying your product or service
- Working for you
- Partnering with you
- Investing in your company
Exhibiting at Startup Summit not only opens the door to potential new customers and clients, but could also attract new hires or future partners!
Video meetings take place directly in Brella, combining the best of live chat and virtual conferencing, ideal for drumming up new business!
Booking a meeting with potential leads only takes a couple of clicks! Just hit the “suggest meeting” button and Brella will pull-up that person’s availability. Select the time that suits you best and wait for them to accept your invitation. No need to waste time messaging back and forth to find a suitable time!
Brella will then automatically create your own personalised meeting calendar within the platform - plus you always have the option to add it to your own calendar too.
When the time comes, head to Brella and join the meeting!
TWO WEEKS OF CONNECTIONS!
On event day, do you find that there’s just never enough time in the day to catch all the speakers you want to see, network with attendees, and take some time to make your lunch?
To allow you to make the most of the networking opportunities, at Startup Summit 2021 we’ll be opening Brella for two weeks! Which means that for two weeks you’ll be able to schedule meetings and connect with attendees and potential clients, all within the event platform!
As an exhibitor you’ll no longer be required to cram in as many meetings as you can in a short space, you can plan your time and spread them out over the course of the full two-week period.
And if the thought of two weeks of meetings scares you, worry not! You can self-select your availability, giving you complete control over your time.
VIRTUAL BOOTHS
Brella is designed with exhibitors and partners in mind. As an exhibiting company you will get your own virtual booth within the event platform. Think of this as your online space within the event. Your booth is a space to showcase your brand identity and serves as a space for attendees to browse the services and products you offer.
Your booth will have information about your company, links to your social media profiles and website, a rotating content banner in which you can embed your website, a landing page or lead generation form, promotional videos, brochures or documents, even surveys!
In addition, your booth has its own live chat where you can interact with attendees, plus a list of your company representatives each with their own “book a meeting” button, making it easier than ever for attendees to schedule a call with your team!
Not only does Brella put you right in the heart of Startup Summit, but once the event is over you’ll be able to prove your ROI and see clearly how exhibiting generated value for your organisation.
With our qualified warm leads report you can see exactly who your team met with and what they were interested in, helping you identify who to follow-up with. Furthermore, you’ll also receive a report on your virtual booth visits and interactions!
In addition, each interaction with your virtual booth is tracked, so every time an attendee enters your booth, you’ll be able to generate a lead from that interaction - you’ll know who entered your booth, and what kind of interactions they had with it.
